While the pre-primary years were all about discovering the world around, the primary years (Classes I to IV) are all about the child discovering his or her own identity. This is an exciting phase when children begin to notice why they are unique or different compared to others, and what are the talents or skills they possess.

To make this phase rewarding and free of stress, we allow the children to develop their mental and physical faculties gradually. At ISR, we have a special focus on CALLIGRAPHY (cursive hand writing), ABACUS (to enhance Mathematical skills) and SPOKEN ENGLISH (to improve communication and articulation skills, which can be an asset in the future). There are no exams, tests or marks in this phase, and children are given grades to help them assess themselves.
